They must stay informed and undertake hygienic practices.

India’s massive population of senior citizens with waning immunity is highly vulnerable to viral infections like the new corona virus. They should thus be constantly monitored. The elderly should avoid going outdoors specially to crowded places or commuting in public transport for the time being. Although significant risk has not be reported, it is important for pregnant women to avoid travel or coming into contact with an infected person. Since the new corona virus is a respiratory infection, it puts people with heart diseases also at greater risk.
People who are old, they shouldn’t do face-to-face meetings. They should take their medications for BP and other medicines and use blood thinners, as prescribed by their physicians. Simple exercises for strengthening lungs that include blowing balloons, blowing bubbles in water via a straw, and many more. One should maintain a high protein diet by eating all 7 colored vegetables.
