Award-winning businessman ALEXANDER BRIMELOW lost nearly 30 kg to compete on stage as a bodybuilder.
ALEXANDER BRIMELOW’S office in his £40m business overlooks Porsches and Lamborghinis. But this year, he set out to create his own stunning piece of bodywork by competing as a bodybuilder.
It seemed a strange thing to do for a man with a nice lifestyle who is used to business lunches. But Brimelow likes a challenge: he is dyslexic and has no academic qualifications, yet built an award-winning luxury and sports car business. Starting at 97 kg, he juggled training and dieting with international business meetings. A year later, he finished fourth in the lightweights at this year’s drug tested UKBFF UK Nationals.
Muscle&Fitness: Tell us about your business background. Alexander Brimelow:
I started in business by selling burgers as a fat 16-stone lad. I did that for two years then got into the motor industry. I started my business with £600 in the bank in September 2005.
