THE MAN, THE METHOD, THE DOCUMENTARY (PART 2)
“THE STORIES SHARED with me in China made me wish to learn more about Wong Shun Leung and it seemed to me that a documentary in which we could tell his incredible story was long overdue”, shares renowned Bruce Lee documentarian, John Little, about the sown seeds that led to the development and growth of the project with Sifu David Peterson, student of the late master and executive producer of the extraordinary documentary Wong Shun Leung: The King of Talking Hands.
All social media platforms have provided exposure to many of Wong Shun Leung’s top students and ambassadors. And, this extraordinary documentary sees many of those renowned faces, all celebrated Sifus in their own right today, humbly deferring their titles to the one whom they believe is universally deserving: Wong Shun Leung.
Director John Little reflects on their input that, “It’s clear from the testimonials how much love his students share for him. I like the fact that he was very casual, approachable, and had a great sense of humour. You would never know that he was the most lethal Wing Chun man in Hong Kong, if not the world.”
