Some things are timeless, they don't lose charm but instead gain value and are precious. Hansa Maa is one such person who is so graceful, elegant and vibrant even at 75. This month, it's Hansa Maa's birthday and we take immense pleasure in wishing her a very happy 75th birthday. May she remain healthy, happy and blissful always.
She has been the pillar of strength for The Yoga Institute and nurtured it with much love and care, reaching out to all, showering them with the blessings of yoga. Tirelessly working for decades with full dedication, she has taken the Institute to greater heights. She is well-read and has a philosophical bend of mind with an aura that attracts everyone to her. You may converse with her on any topic, any problem and she has an apt answer to it. So, we students believe she is our encyclopedia to a better living. She is not only our friend, philosopher, guide but also our Google, Wikipedia and Oxford.
During my 2-Years Teachers Training Course, I got a chance to know her. She would take lectures and there would be animated discussions on various subjects, current affairs etc. She is always keen to know about new things and share it with others, keeping up with changing times and staying relevant. This has given her a global appeal and made her a people's person.
