When most seniors cross sixty years of age, they prefer a fun-filled life. Many humour clubs are thriving all over the world only because they provide entertainment, entertainment and entertainment. A laughing club is also part of such an exercise.
While you were stuck at home during the lockdown, you tended to tell jokes to relieve tension as even in times of darkness, one should not forget to laugh. Laughter releases stress in a most sensible way. Laughter Yoga is like an aerobic exercise (cardio workout), which brings more oxygen to the body and brain and makes one feel more healthy and energetic. It also strengthens the immune system.
As a regular morning walker, I feel the pulse of the people around me as they wish me on the way. I first go through a park cum playground and then enter an adjacent park as I feel the newly laid walking track suits my style of walking. I never exert myself too much but, at the same time, try to walk briskly so as to sweat by the end of my morning routine. This has become a way of life. At times, I experience a spurt of energy and enthusiasm which makes me walk like a military man. One sunny morning as I was walking stiffly with my right and left legs going in a rhythmic way, I passed my friends sitting at the centre of the park.
