Ishvara Pranidhanat Va. “Va” means alternate. The technique in yoga, in this connection, is much simpler than the Ashtanga Yoga technique which emphasizes on the Yamas, Niyamas, Asanas, Pranayamas, etc. Here it is just Taj-Japas-Tad-Artha-Bhavanam i.e. continuous repetition of the name of God and thinking about Him. We intellectuals would consider this as a very ordinary thing and it does not satisfy our mind, our intellect, or our intelligence. But this is the technique and there are many great people who have just relied on this technique.
