The Assassin Who Came to Kill Me

He sat down on the sofa, in the reception Hof our yoga centre in Beirut, on a bright and sunny morning, opened his jacket, and removed the Walther PKK pistol from the shoulder holster, then took another pistol (I could not make out, its name, maybe it was a Berreta), and put it on the table and said, “I am Samir Geagea, known as the Assassin, sent to kill you!”

He continued, “Alain Chlela, Warlord of the Maronites, has sent me here to speak to you. I believe he has already spoken to you. You have broken the contract of not teaching yoga while on contract with him here in this yoga centre. He has asked you to leave Lebanon within three days, and if you do not agree, I have been sent here to put a bullet in your head.” His hand reached for the gun on the table.
