I am an educator and I feel very strongly about the physical and mental struggles of students when I come across my students online. It’s not rocket science to gauge student’s mounting pressure when you communicate with them. Our innocent privileged children (pun intended!) spend 4 to 5 hours in their tablet/iPad schools. Sometimes I really ponder, are these kids more fortunate or unfortunate than those in remote areas with no access to the internet? Continuous exposure to screen may be doing more harm than any good. The children in the age group of 2 to 14 are very vulnerable right now. Ironically, that’s the age where they should be more outward than inward. Sometimes it feels that we are really not sure what we are putting at stake, but yeah, we are sure to win the rat race!
