By the use of just one politically tinged word, she found expressed what she vaguely felt to be typically Indian on her first visit to India back in 1973, when it impressed her as wonderfully apolitical. How so? There seemed an ‘eternalness’ in the air and around some persons, which she found very inspiring and breathed in fully. In contrast, politics for her implies also business, both in a positive sense of having to be ever responsibly busy to deal with matters and urgencies, but also in a negative sense.
