  • Sirdar Snuggly DK (55% nylon, 45% acrylic, 50g/165m)

  • 2 balls of Yarn A Soft Brown (428) and 1 ball of Yarn B Biscuit (494)

  • Length of black yarn for embroidery

  • A pair of 3.75mm needles

  • A pair of 4mm needles

  • A 3.75mm crochet hook

  • Tapestry needle

  • Black felt, 10x10cm

  • White felt, 10x10cm

  • Black and white sewing thread

  • Black and white embroidery thread

TENSION

22 sts and 30 rows to measure

10x10cm (4x4in) over st st using

4mm needles.

MEASUREMENTS

Hat

To fit head circumference 52cm (20½in)

Actual head circumference 48cm (19in)

Length from top of crown to brim 18cm (7in)

Mittens

To fit palm circumference 24cm (9½in)

Actual palm circumference 23cm (9in)

Length from the end of the cuff to top of mitt 11cm (4½in)
