Three emerging female photographers filtered the guise of femininity through their eyes – and cameras – for a new photographic exhibition, ‘Eyes in Focus’.
Intimacy, vulnerability, geometry and a pronounced Swissness are evident in the fresh collection of images commissioned by luxury skincare house La Prairie, ‘Eyes in Focus’, that coincides with the launch of its much-awaited Skin Caviar Eye Lift. Three young female Swiss photographers – alumni of the prestigious École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne – turned their lenses on the feminine visage to create striking photographs that debuted at June’s Art Basel at the La Prairie Pavilion in the Collectors’ Lounge. Here in Basel, art-world identities collide with enthusiastic buyers in a suitably chic milieu, where the most casual lunch is fresh sashimi and a flute of Ruinart.
