Decluttering and minimalism are two words condo dwellers hear too often. Both terms are co-dependent on each other. Decluttering has to happen before you can live a minimalist life and minimalism is a constant decluttering of your life.
Oh, the irony.
According to IKEA’s annual research of Life at Home, there’s an irony with minimalism and the trend of shrinking spaces. We purchase small spaces because they’re more affordable but shop for more stuff which won’t fit the tiny space we live in. Thus, we have to be more creative with storage solutions. That, or jump face down and declutter… if you can.
