With just a few flexible stems and some evergreen shoots you can easily make a simple but effective Christmas decoration that can be used outside or brought into the house over Christmas.You&rsquo;ll need four long, coloured dogwood stems or similar flexible stems, some long lengths of ivy, sprigs of holly, green or variegated, and if there are no berries on the holly, add in some cotoneaster or pyracantha. Hold two dogwood stems in one hand and bend the tops over to form a curved top and tie together with wire. Create a second curved shape and fix them together to make a simple heart shape. Twist some of the long ivy stems around the dogwood shape, then bunch together some short stems of holly and cotoneaster and bind it to the base of the heart. Finish off with a piece of ribbon and it&rsquo;s then ready to bring you joy over the festive period.
