The journey from John O&rsquo;Groats took him through north east Scotland to Inverness, into England, via&nbsp;Shap&nbsp;Fell, to Carlisle and Preston, then along the English-Welsh Border through Shrewsbury and Gloucester to Bristol. The final stretch ran down through Taunton and&nbsp;Bodmin&nbsp;in Devon to Land&rsquo;s End.Tracked by staff at John Deere&rsquo;s operation&nbsp;centre, the resulting data was verified by Guinness assessors to clinch the world-beating feat.The route also took him past his family home in&nbsp;Inskip, Lancashire, where he spends some of his spare time cutting the grass in public open spaces around the village and where he&rsquo;s also the proud owner of eight walk-behind mowers he uses for the purpose.
