Greys and reds are busy stocking up for winter
Autumn’s a busy time for squirrels. There’s lots to eat, but it’s also time to prepare for a hungrier future. And both grey and red squirrels are great little operators when it comes to winter survival. Unlike dormice and hedgehogs, they don’t hibernate, but instead go for a stay-at-home approach to get through the cold and wet.
