New York based interior designer Peti Lau dramatically pairs a thousand different shades to create a tropical inspired, contemporary home befitting Alex Pall, one part of the world famous music duo, The Chainsmokers
Deeply ensconced in the hills of Hollywood, Los Angeles, Alex Pall’s home has one major highlight — an ancient and thriving tree growing in the centre of the main entrance. It is the first thing that greets you when you enter, taking every visitor by surprise. Alex, one half of the world famous musical duo, The Chainsmokers, admits it’s the first thing he fell in love with. The house has been maintained by the previous owners to preserve the charm of old Hollywood. Interior designer Peti Lau, to whom Alex commissioned the task of doing up his home says, “Alex’s home is an original 1930’s home. It sits in Hollywood Hills and even though there are several other homes around, it stays hidden behind a lot of greenery. That’s one of the many things I love about this home... just how private it feels.”
