Move over passé fairy lights and candles, today is the age of drama, depth, fête and expression. I recently returned from ‘the Jewel’, the vortex inward waterfall inside Singapore’s Changi Airport, and what a magnificent man made wonder it is spanning three floors. Inspired by this, indoor waterfalls with seamless infinity water bodies inside homes, lit up from within especially for the festive season is at once relaxing and exuberant.

No overkill here but some key walls, corridors, powder bath and sitting room in golds and greens along with floral colors is the look of festive gaiety perfect for October through to Christmas and January.

Especially when interspersed with palm imagery of large green leaves creates an interior that looks so lush and inviting at once bringing the outside inside, especially refreshing in this current world driven by artifice, technology and machine made products.
