These indigenous beauties will add graceful movement to your garden.

With Bells On

In spring and early summer, the delicate blooms of fairy bells (Dierama pendulum) are carried on long arching stems that dance in the slightest breeze. This indigenous perennial boasts purplish-pink

bell-shaped flowers about 50mm in length that will add graceful charm to a mixed border with ornamental grasses, where its thin, ribbon-like leaves beautifully complement those of the grasses. It also looks wonderful in a gravel garden where the grass-like clumps and dainty flowers are sure to catch the eye. The plant does best in a spot with plenty of air circulation.
