Eternal Sunshine
Ireland's Homes Interiors & Living Magazine|September 2019

Moving back from Australia, Emily and Conor began the search for the perfect home in Carlow to suit their growing family.

Eternal Sunshine
Emily and Conor both grew up in County Carlow and after their college years, decided to move half way around the world to Australia, where they lived for several years. Upon having their first child and starting to plan for a second one, they decided to return to Ireland to be closer to family. An extensive house search began and they found a new development near Carlow town that ticked all the boxes, being located in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood with easy access to all the desired amenities.

When searching for the new property it was important for the couple to have a good size garden and well proportioned, bright rooms. With the house being newly built, there were no internal finishes at all. The developer offered contractors that could carry out the necessary works. The only requirement was that Emily and Conor selected their desired kitchen style and colour; tiles for various areas within the property and paint colours. All the work would be carried out as part of the sale agreement. It was a great offer and they accepted it. They felt this put them in the ideal position of being able to design and style their home to their liking with no project management hassle.
