‘The homeowner’s brief was to design his dream home. It had to be Vaastu compliant and had to incorporate nine bedrooms, formal and family living and dining rooms, home theatre and guest lounge, an informal gaming room-cum-TV lounge, two separate living areas for the family and guests, a library, gymnasium, spa, salon, swimming pool and guest and private lawns. Also, we followed a strict rectangular plan with a ‘Brahmasthana’ (open zone in the centre of the house) in the middle of the home,’ explains Rajiv.
