We zeroed in on Muselab only because of my husband. He is incredibly passionate about interior design, and had researched about a hundred books and magazines,’ reveals Shelja Jose. In order to give Huzefa Rangwala and Jasem Pirani of Muselab a clear picture of what the family required, Shelja and her husband, Sunil Jose, created a playbook for the architects. ‘I work in the world of technology, and we often use what we call the playbook. I used the same concept to show our brief to Jasem and Huzefa. And, they made everything so easy. Their thinking matched with what we wanted perfectly,’ says Sunil. All the prep and quick decision-making came mighty handy when it came down to the grind, because, as Jasem and Huzefa reveal, ‘We met Sunil and Shelja in August and had the home ready by Christmas!’
