Interior styles are everchanging, but always inspiring. Here’s what’s trending overseas (and worth trying at home)
1.Ombre interiors
one.
Modern life feels more fast-paced than ever, so it’s no surprise that one of this year’s trends is about creating harmony through colour gradients. The beauty of ombre interiors is that the colour palette gradually transitions from one hue to the next. Choosing either warm or cool tones that flow visually is the key to achieving a subtle and sophisticated look. Here, your eye travels from the warm tan bench to the rose marble table and red chair. On a smaller scale, colour gradient artworks have a similar harmonious effect. Line up a few and the different tones will blend fluidly rather than burst out at you. And if it all feels too same-same, add an opposing tone or texture, like this green terrazzo floor.
