Turn your outdoor patio into a warm and welcoming hot spot, be it for an evening with friends or a cosy dinner with the family. By simply opting for the right heating solution, you can make good use of your outdoor space even when the weather turns cooler.
Van Zyl recommends firepits because of their portable nature and ease of use. She says: "A fire pit can be used as an accent piece for an outdoor deck or to add interest to a rooftop patio. Traditionally designed to be low to the ground, it is an ideal feature to centre seating around. Fire tables, which are fixed firepits incorporated into a table design, are also selling well and becoming a popular feature."
FIRE WORKS
Many outdoor heating solutions are good at distributing heat effectively. Thermo Fires' Liza van Zyl elaborates on some of the latest trends: "Firepits are no longer just a round steel ring on top of some gravel. The firepit has been upgraded to include modern linear, clean lines, or laser cut patterns."
