MANY of us will have endured the pain of consuming both grape and grain over the festive season but this spring a foodie tour that embraces that exact concept will launch in Surrey.
Run by Joel Eastman, Grape and Grain Tours has been set up to help people explore the increasing number of boutique wineries, breweries and distilleries in the South East. Originally from Sydney, and now living on the Surrey/Hampshire border, Joel’s 12-year career in the drinks industry has seen him managing boutique wine and spirits stores, promoting international whisky brands to top London hotels and restaurants, running countless wine and spirits tastings and distilling gin at boutique distilleries in London and Surrey.
