La Tomatino Hopes palau de la Mars, Valencia
Continuing the tradition of fine cuisine and hospitality, the Palau de la Mar (Palace of the Sea) is a modern renovation of two palace residences in the center of the city of Valencia. The hotel blends period features with a clean-lined contemporary sheen. Original features, such as the colossal wooden doors and the impressive marble staircases, offer hints of bygone grandeur, and the polished marbled lobby floors, lingering scent of orange blossom and subterranean spa lend an atmosphere of soothing serenity. It is a welcoming space that surprises and delights every kind of discerning traveller. White marble bathrooms and dark wenge wood floors feature in all of the hotel’s 66 rooms and suites, which span six categories and range from 25 to 70 square meters. While most of the rooms and suites are situated in the principal building, the 51-square-meter Junior Suites are located in the palace building and offer large living rooms, while the 70-square-meter Presidential Suite comprises two guestrooms, a lounge, and two bathrooms, and boasts huge windows that allow a deluge of natural light.
