Daddy at the drop of a hat is a finely done artsy cafe and bar. With a total area of over 18,000 sqft, it spans over two floors including a terrace. This ethereal restaurant imbibes an out-of-the-ordinary scheme throughout. A space inspired by pop culture instilled with astonishing pieces of artworks and geometric flooring patterns all around the expanse. With an array of circular cut-outs and quirky graphics, Daddy breaks the monotony of the usual bar space.
The sumptuous domain is classified into three zones - private (PDRs), semi-private (balcony, terrace) and public (bar). The segregation between these spaces is seamless and smooth with juxtapositioned imposing circular voids in walls and grand sturdy doors made in wood and glass. The partition wall with circular voids between dining and bar area is fabricated with a dual agenda of unifying the whole floor into one. The circular cutouts are accessorised with unique lighting elements circumscribed by rings, adding to the dynamism that the space stands as a stalwart for. The exposed dark grey ceiling inside gives a raw punk air to the arena. The nuance added through spectacular incorporation of artworks on various elements of design expounds the concept of this restaurant, where modernised and creative art adds on to the young and edgy feel of the regime.
