WHEN DISCUSSING menswear, there is typically not much one can deviate from. There are collections that conform to the archetypal masculine structures, and then there are those that go against them. When I first saw the Spring/Summer 2024 runways last year, I was delighted to see looks that cater more to the latter. We saw short shorts, explosive vibrant colours, and maximalist textures, just to name a few. Perhaps, since it is for Spring/Summer, the collections tend to be a lot more relaxed, allowing creative explorations in structures and designs.
