Launched in the first half of 2020, the Godox RGB Mini Creative Light M1 is a sophisticated-looking piece of equipment that appears to be the solution to all your lighting woes. Let’s find out more.
Features
The M1 features three modes—Bicolour mode, Colourful mode and FX Situational Special Effects mode. In the Bicolour mode, you can adjust the colour temperature from 2500K to 8500K using the clickable FN multifunctional select dial. Brightness can also be adjusted from 0 to 100% using the Dim dial. In the Colourful mode, you can adjust the hue from 0° to 360°, the saturation from 0 to 100 as well as the brightness. There are 15 effects in the FX Situational Special Effects mode— Colourful Lights Recycle, Flash, Laser Colourful lights, Lightning, Broken Bulb, TV, Candle, Fire, Firework, Police Car, Fire Truck, Ambulance, Music, SOS and Strong Light. Each of these effects are subdivided into 40 additional effects where the light flickers at different intensities and speeds. When using the Strong Light effect, the light will remain on for 60 seconds after which it will automatically turn off. Another nifty feature is the Music effect where through the mic hole, the M1 will blink according to the rhythm of the music that is playing. In fact, it flickers to any sound, as long as the source is close to the light.
