HAVING now enjoyed his first full pre-season within the Celtic Youth Academy, PJ Crossan is hoping to make an impact in the Hoops as he enters the second year playing with the club he has grown up supporting.

Last summer the young striker, then aged 17, joined Celtic from Dunfermline Atheltic, signing a three-year deal, but it was only the first step in an ongoing journey and he is now focused on ensuring he secures that dream of playing for the Celtic first-team.

“I’ve been here a year now, but this is actually my first full pre-season with Celtic,” Crossan told the Celtic View in an exclusive interview. “It’s been good, I’ve really enjoyed it and there’s been a lot of football involved as well so I think I can do well this season.

“Last season was alright, not great, but hopefully this season I can continue to develop and do a lot better because I know I can.”
