The name Cornwall carries a lot of prestige when it comes to food producers; and for good reason. Filled with small family-run business and eco-friendly enterprises, there is passion in everything that is made.
And top of the list is Trewithen Dairy. Cornwall isn’t just an address to the Clarke family who set up the dairy in 1994, they believe their food reflects the Cornish way of life. All the farms that supply milk to the dairy are within 25 miles of Trewithen Dairy in the Glynn Valley.
“This leads to our belief that ‘not all milk is the same’,” explains Francis Clarke. “We are fastidious about creating a premium product, which comes from having a close relationship with all our farmers and, crucially, always buying every drop of milk that is produced.”
