It’s true, women derive more pleasure from sex than men! This might come as a surprise for many, but in a country like ours, where women are raised to be sexually modest, not everyone has the opportunity to be vocal about their sexual desires. But, this needs to change, stat.
A deep sexual awareness of yourself is very important. Once you know your body and understand what it wants, you can always guide your partner to get there. Knowing your body through and through is a beautiful thing and should be embraced. Here’s a little more insight.
THE NITTY GRITTY
Women are more sexual
Female sexuality is more complex than that of their male counterparts. A man can get turned on purely through sexual factors, but the brain of a woman registers more details. This is why women need more time getting aroused and the possibility of getting distracted is high. Women take four times as long as men to reach an orgasm and this needs clitoral simulation and emotional stimulation. In return, women are more receptive to sexual pleasure. We also do not have a refractory period as men do and can continue being in the state of a high arousal even after orgasm and continue to orgasm several times afterwards. It seems as if the female sexuality is insatiable, but women don’t need to have an orgasm to be sexually satisfied and will be satisfied by good sexual contact, which plays a major role in the lives of women over the age of 50.
