Spanning over an area of three acres, The Barnhouse Studio is a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, just 40 minutes away from Colombo!
The Barnhouse Studio was built with the intention of creating connections through disconnection. In this day and age, society has been programmed to increasingly make life digital. From social media apps to trending selfies, life is no longer about living in the moment. At The Barnhouse Studio, the founders intend to create that great escape for both mind and body easily with the comfort of being close to Colombo and not having to take numerous days off work to travel.
Founded amidst a rubber estate in June 2017, as you enter through the wooden gates, visitors are immediately transported to a tranquil atmosphere. Imagine the soft crunch of grass beneath your feet, birds chirping in the trees towering around you, and a wooden chalet waiting to accommodate you in the distance.
