SHE’S ONLY 28, but Margot Robbie has already had a meteoric rise towards Hollywood’s Holy Grail. Her every move shows off not only her talent, but her dogged determination to succeed. It’s all in her frank, disarming smile when we meet in London. She’s anything but fake or affected. Instead, she’s friendly, funny and focused on other people, not herself. Before scoring a best actress Oscar nomination for I, Tonya, directed by Craig Gillespie, Robbie worked with legendary director Martin Scorsese on The Wolf Of Wall Street, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Earlier this year, the new Chanel muse starred with Saoirse Ronan in Mary Queen Of Scots, a film about the rivalry between Elizabeth I, the future head of the Church of England, and her cousin Mary, who was a Catholic. Harley Quinn, her Suicide Squad character, was so popular she sparked a rumoured four further films, and in her other upcoming releases (did we mention she’s very, very busy?) she’s playing iconic figures who range from Barbie to Maid Marian. In Quentin Tarantino’s much-anticipated next film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, she will star with DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.
