Every August, Essex Wildlife Trust celebrates Marine Month, which gives us all a chance to appreciate our county's wonderful 350-mile coastline and the wildlife that calls it home.
This year, the team at Essex Wildlife Trust are challenging you to take part in the Essex Coastal Challenge so we can continue to protect our incredible coastline.
The challenge is based on the number 350, to match the length of our coastline, and we’re asking you to set your own goal for a physical challenge – based on 3.5 miles, 35 miles or the full 350 miles — and take part no matter where you live or whatever your fitness level. The challenge is open for individuals or you can team up with your family, work colleagues, friends or a sports club. All funds that you raise will go towards supporting your local conservation charity.
