Traveling and backpacking cannot be separated from each other as packing the most essential items for an ultimate travel experience is very necessary.
One of the most important factors to consider before packing is your type of trip you are going to. Is it a day trip or a week-long? What are you planning to do and what is the purpose of your trip. Well, at first, you will need to figure this out and then go about selecting the items accordingly. You do not want to carry woolens to a beach trip and also miss out on having power for a camping trip where you might not have access to electricity.
It all begins with a backpack or a rucksack, the size and capacity of which will depend on your trip and number of days you will be out. Then comes the major items which will you will need for the trip and lastly, packing all the stuff needed into the backpack and set off. While you cannot really choose how your trip will be, you can plan it well to have it executed well. Here are some useful equipment which I have listed have listed down some of the very important things you would need for a complete backpacking trip.
A BACKPACK/RUCKSACK
Now this completely depends on where and how many days you are planning to go to? But technically, a week-long of backpacking would not need more than 50 litres of a backpack. You should remember that for a trip like this, you can never have too much luxury and never pack more than anything you need. It is probably the ground rule for a successful backpacking trip. You could take a look at rucksacks from Wildcraft or Quechua who make very purposeful bags which are tough and have practicality.
