Shirtless, in shorts and flipflops, with a ratty straw hat askew on his head, he scarfs down his lunch of chicken afritada and rice at Nak-Nak, a roadside carinderia in San Juan, La Union. No one minds him because everyone else is as casually dressed as he is.
