I walked by the Allies of Skin booth at the Sephora Autumn/ Winter 2018 Press Day and was greeted by a super-friendly guy with the most amazing skin. At that time, I had not heard of the brand before and proceeded to quiz him on the products displayed. I was impressed with his skincare know-how and later found out that he was, in fact, the founder of the brand itself, which was a delightful surprise as he was extremely down to earth! Listed as one of Forbes’s 30 Under 30 Asia 2017 in the Retail and e-commerce category and being the first Singaporean skincare brand to have sold in major departmental stores such as Barneys and Harrods, he’s certainly a force to be reckoned with. Here, he talks about his brand, favourite beauty icon and turning the big 3-0!
