Grell might be new, but its namesake certainly is not. Axel Grell was the senior engineer at Sennheiser, behind many of its most iconic designs.
The TWS/1 is largely in keeping with the basic spec that true-wireless designs seem to be coalescing around. A single 10.1mm dynamic driver is used in each enclosure. A Qualcomm 5141 chipset supports Bluetooth 5.2 with extended support for aptX, aptX Adaptive, LHDC, and AAC on top of the basic SBC codec. Grell says the battery life is eight hours from the buds without noise-canceling and six with. The case gives four full charges from its internal battery.
