Stroll down Maidstone’s Earl Street and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to different eateries. One of our favourites is Côte Brasserie – its sister branches are in Canterbury, Chislehurst, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and also Bluewater (Greenhithe).
One of the best bits about a High Street Hero is that the guilt factor of ‘special occasion’ dining is removed. You can rock up early evening, mid-week with a mate, as I did, and know there are going to be plenty of other hungry people there who want a decent plate of food at a reasonable price and in congenial surroundings.
