Have lactation or breastfeeding concerns? Ask Effath
I’m going to resume work soon as my maternity leave is drawing to a close. I want to continue breastfeeding my daughter as I do want to ensure she’s well-nourished even when I’m away at work. I’ve read that it’s safe to pump and freeze breastmilk. However, I’m not entirely sure how long I can safely store the expressed milk. Moreover, since I’ll be away, my baby will have to resort to drinking from the bottle. Is it okay to let her drink from a bottle, if I still intend to nurse her? Please advise me.
