In terms of sheer hardware, they are perhaps the best specced phones available in the market at the time of writing. And rather remarkably neither costs a bomb. But if you are on the lookout for a super phone and do not want to go beyond rs 30,000, should you opt for the Oneplus 3 or the Leeco le max 2?
They both pack in specs that would do any high-end flagship proud: terrific displays, cutting edge processors, terrific cameras and stacks of RAM. And both of them taken together cost only slightly more than a single high-end phone from some of the better-known brands. yes, if you are in town for a super phone with a super affordable price tag then you would be hard pressed to do better than the leEco le Max 2 and the OnePlus 3, the first phones in the Indian market to sport 6 GB RAM. But what if the choice was between this awesome duo?
Looks and appearance
Both phones are rather handsome to look at with their blend of glass fronts and metal backs. And they are impressively sleek and slim as well - the OnePlus 3 is a bare 7.4 mm thin and the leEco le Max 2 a very trim 8 mm. The OnePlus 3 is the more compact of the two devices, we suspect because of its slightly smaller screen, but in terms of sheer appearance and impact, we think the le Max 2 wins this battle simply because it looks more distinct than the OnePlus 3, which all said and done, does have something of an HTC device in its appearance - not a bad thing, but it does detract from the design aura that OnePlus’ devices had built around them, especially with the sandstone finish backs. The le Max 2 is bigger and heavier but has a more distinct look to it, which wins it this round.
Winner: LeEco Le Max 2
