The first Apple store in Southeast Asia lands in the heart of Orchard Road.
After years of speculation, the first Apple store in Southeast Asia opens here in Singapore, right in the heart of our shopping district. Apple Orchard Road joins the ranks of nearly 500 Apple stores around the world in welcoming more than a million visitors a day.
The new store will be operated by 237 staff, of which 25 percent were current Apple employees from other areas of business. Incidentally, it also makes them the most seasoned team that has ever opened an Apple store in a new country.
