We find out how Huawei’s Harmony OS MatePad Pro 10.8-inch stands up to school

For all you students out there, getting back into school mode should be pretty tiring, especially with the changes to schedules, and safe management requirements. So being able to bring the Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8-inch (2021) to school has been a great experience, as it made me much more efficient.

Huawei’s MatePad Pro features a minimalist and symmetrical design and is equipped with a stunning 10.8-inch ultrawide 2K HUAWEI FullView Display with a 16:10 widescreen ratio and an ultra-slim bezel measuring just 4.9mm thin. This makes this HarmonyOS 2 tablet extremely thin and at 460g it’s very lightweight, especially when compared to the heavy laptop I have been accustomed to in the past semesters, and makes travelling from campus to campus effortless.

To complement the MatePad Pro, I tried the optional M-pencil stylus, which has 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, tilt support and a tip made of a unique composite material, and found it accurate, responsive and sensitive, which made scribbling down notes simple
