Australian Ninja Warrior host and 2GB radio star Ben Fordham is about to have his hands very full as he and his wife, Jodie Speers, are set to welcome their third child together in September. The couple – who also share a son, Freddy, 4, and daughter Pearl, 1 – are already picking out baby names.

“It’s a really exciting time and the big game in our house is pick the baby name,” Ben tells New Idea.

“We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl and we won’t find out until it arrives, but Pearl’s latest name that she likes is Butterfly, so, we’ve had to agree to consider it as a name. I quite like it, but Jodie’s not too keen.”

While Ben is over the moon that his family is expanding, he admits that the third child was his wife’s idea.

“I was actually happy with the two,” he says. “I said, ‘Look, we have a boy and a girl, the perfect pair, let’s leave it at that,’ but Jodie suggested, well she told me, actually, that we were having a third.”

However, Ben reveals that the excitement of a new baby already has him considering more children in the future.
