When you take a step back and allow your daughter to do things for herself, she will fail. She is going to screw up, make messes and mismanage situations because she is still learning and figuring out how the world works. You can count on it!
So the question is, should you allow your daughter to fail? The answer is yes. Allow her to fail. Allow her to feel that what she is doing isn’t measuring up to her own standards.
