Almost a year after a horror fall left her with a fractured shoulder, TV treasure Denise Drysdale is once again in the hospital!

“This old chook must be working her way through the medical book of A to Z illnesses,” she tells New Idea.

Just over 10 days ago Denise, 72, was rushed to a Gold Coast hospital by her son, Rob, after being rendered breathless while writhing in agony.

“I’ve been diagnosed with a rare facial condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN), which affects around one in 20,000 Australians per year,” she explains.
