The couple were spotted in a heated exchange

They had plans to start a new life away from the royal spotlight as a family of three in Los Angeles. Now, just weeks after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved into their new multi-million dollar home in the upscale California community of Montecito, rumors are swirling that there’s trouble in paradise.

In fact, earlier this month the couple, who apparently have been clashing for some time due to the pressures of relocating from the UK to America, were seen having what appeared to be a heated exchange in public.

New Idea understands a local spotted the Sussexes enjoying a late lunch at a world-famous restaurant near their $20 million mansion, with the witness telling us exclusively that Harry seemed particularly vexed: “He had a face like thunder.”

“It looked like they were fighting,” the onlooker says. “She was enjoying a glass of white wine and didn’t seem too fazed by it, but Harry was clearly furious.”

Later that day, a separate punter shared a picture of the “tense exchange” to American celebrity sighting Instagram account Deux Moi.

Since then, an insider close to Harry and Meghan admits this isn’t the first time the pair have been caught arguing of late.
