‘I GREW UP WITH GHOSTS!'

GHOSTBUSTER REBS DIDN’T HAVE A NORMAL CHILDHOOD...

A ghost-busting mother of two, who earns a living guiding spirits into the afterlife, had a very spooky childhood.

Rebs Baigent, 43, from Wollongong, NSW, has been seeing dead people since she was a toddler and remembers her first encounter with a spirit was a kindly old man who visited her at night.

As she tells New Idea, her frightening gift has been a blessing and a curse.

“When I was a little girl, we lived in an old Victorian vicarage. And there was an old man who used to come and talk to me at night,” Rebs recalls.

“He used to sit on the end of my bed. Nothing creepy about it! He was harmless.”

“In that same house, there was a lot of activity through the night. It would be lots of sounds and I could hear talking and hear footsteps. I actually used to sleep under my bed.”
