The Queen Crowns Kate and Wills Amid the Excitement of Baby Number Three!

As they eagerly await the arrival of their third child, Prince William and Duchess Kate are gearing up for an even bigger life change – the Queen is preparing to make the pair the next king and queen of England!

With Charles’ suitability to be the Queen’s successor as the Head of the Commonwealth recently coming up for debate, it has become painfully clear to the Queen that the people do not want him as their king.

‘The Queen has decided to step in and make the decision that William will be king,’ says a top palace source.

Despite the Queen’s desperate attempts to salvage her eldest son’s reputation, saying he has represented the Commonwealth with ‘great distinction’, she cannot ignore the demands of the people any longer.

William, 35, and Kate, 36, on the other hand, enjoy immense popularity and have been credited for elevating the royal family’s relevance since their 2011 wedding. Currently, more than half of the UK think William should be the next king, while only a fifth favour Charles.

Unable to argue with the numbers, the Queen, 92, now feels William is the right person to take on the top job.
