MACAULAY CULKIN FINALLY HAPPY...AND HAVING A BABY!

THE FORMER CHILD STAR IS READY FOR HIS GREATEST ROLE YET

With the festive season upon us, children – and us big kids – around Australia are dusting off their Home Alone DVDs to get in the Christmas spirit.

And as we watch Kevin McCallister outsmart would be robbers after his parents accidentally leave him at home for the holidays, it’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years since we were first introduced to its star, Macaulay Culkin.

Now a 40-year-old man, the three decades since he shot to fame have been punctuated with scandals and heartbreaking loss.

But New Idea can reveal that after all he’s been through – including dumping his parents, a bizarre friendship with Michael Jackson, a marriage breakdown, and a drug addiction – Mac has finally found his happily ever after.

Last year, it was revealed Mac is in a serious relationship with fellow former child star, Disney Channel alum Brenda Song, after meeting on the set of their 2017 film, Changeland.

Of the meeting, Brenda says: “It’s almost like child actors ... we don’t have to talk about it. You just look each other in the eye and you nod and we know.”

Since then, their relationship has gone from strength to strength, with Macaulay telling the Joe Rogan podcast he has “a pretty little family – a pretty girl, a pretty dog, a pretty cat, and all that stuff. I’m gonna make some babies. This one’s a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her ... I mean, we’ve definitely been practising”.
